Soles4Souls Shoe Drive
For a limited time the New Orleans Track Club will be collecting your gently worn footwear and/or donations to ship the shoes to a person in need through a partnership with Soles4Souls, Inc. Donors can drop off their "gently worn" shoes at participating events including the upcoming Crescent City Classic 10K Health and Fitness Expo April 1 and 2, the United Way Mississippi Bridge Run/Walk April 10, the Ochsner Ironman 70.3 Health and Fitness Expo April 16 and 17, and the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company "Run Forrest Run" for Children's Hospital April 25. NOTC Board Solicits Input for Strategic Plan
Your ideas and suggestions are requested for consideration as the Board begins work on a Strategic Plan. What areas would you like strengthened or improved? We need your input.
The focus of this effort is to map out short range and long range directions for the club. All areas of operation will be considered including Bylaws, Communications to Members, Dues, Elections of Officers and Board Members, Finances, Footprints Newsletter, Member Services, Possible New Programs, Office Feasibility, Philanthropic Programs, Rock 'n' Roll Mardi Gras Marathon, Road Race Fees and Giveaways, Training Programs, etc.

NOTC Teams at the Relay for Life
The Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people from all walks of life have fun while raising much-needed funds to fight cancer and raise awareness of cancer prevention and treatment. NOTC has been very generous in sponsoring two teams for the Relay for Life of Metairie, held March 27, 2010. Team captain Liz Lotz heads up the NOTC team and Troy Gardner heads the Chuggers of NOTC.
