The New Orleans Track Club

New Orleans' premier running organization
promoting health and fitness since 1963

Summer Series #1 Greek Festival Race Big Easy, Big Heart Bursting with Speed Great St Charles Avenue Road Race

welcome

The New Orleans Track Club is a family friendly organization catering to runners, joggers, and walkers alike. Whether you run for fun, run to win, run for fitness, or just to meet people you will find an open welcome at any NOTC event. NOTC seeks to promote health and wellness not just you, but the entire Greater New Orleans community, as it seeks to improve physical fitness through running.

NOTC organizes running events of all distances and types. While road races are the most common, there are trail races, cross country races, and free track meets. Race distances range from track events all the way up to 30k road races, and everything in between. So whatever your goal, there is an event for you.

NOTC members come from every corner of southern Louisiana and beyond. Membership provides many benefits, including discounted race entries, free entry to the Summer Series 2 mile races, training programs, and discounts at local stores and club partners. Your membership not only supports the production of club races, but other local running programs such as Youth Run NOLA, Girls on the Run, and schools cross country, all of which encourage the city youth to begin their lives with a healthy lifestyle.

Nothing would be possible without our volunteers. Everything we do is powered by volunteers: everything from manning water stations to serving beer, from compiling results and taking race day photos to producing the club newsletter Footprints requires volunteers. Please consider signing up to volunteer at one of our upcoming races, even if you plan to run.

So, welcome to the New Orleans Track Club! We look forward to seeing you at one of our events soon.

President's Letter

Greetings NOLA runners and walkers! It's been a busy last few months for the New Orleans Track Club! Since my last letter, we have hosted the 108th Annual NOAC Turkey Day Race, the 34th Annual Ole Man River Half Marathon & 5k, 109th Anniversary Jackson Day Race, and 40th Annual Larry Fuselier 25k & 5k. When I think about the number of years that each of these events has been happening as well as the various changes that these events have experienced throughout their histories, I know that it is a true testament to all of the hard work and dedication from our New Orleans Track Club members. Thank you to our long-time NOTC members and those who have just recently joined our club- you are part of a 53-year old tradition and many historical races!
