39th Annual Larry Fuselier Race

Lake Pontchartrain Lakefront, Metairie, LA

Foggy and humid conditions greeted 5k and 25k runners at the Lake Pontchartrain Lakefront on Sunday, December 28th, 2014 for the 39th Annual Larry Fuselier Race. Both 5k and 25k participants ran out-and-back courses on the levee starting in Bucktown.

Cory Bourg was victorious in the men's 25k race in a time of 1:38:11, while Tessa Clayton ran strong to win the women's 25k race in 2:01:52. Teens dominated the 5k race, with 16-year-old Bryant White winning the male division in 17:30 and 15-year-old Anja Maijala winning for the female division in 20:26. This year, all race participants and volunteers received a black pair of NOTC running gloves.
