Run along Bayou St John out and back to the post-race festivities inside the Greek Festival. Free entry to the festival all weekend with your race number! SockGuy socks will be given for this race. Socks only guaranteed to preregistered entrants. Stemless wine glasses to the first 100 5K finishers!
The Greek Festival Race is open to all runners and walkers, NOTC members and nonmembers alike.

6:00 PM – Race-day registration and packet pick-up opens
7:00 PM – Start of 1 Mile
7:20 PM – Start of 5K
Start and finish is on Wisner Blvd at Robert E Lee Blvd.
See map for suggested parking locations. The festival also offers free parking and shuttle bus service from the former site of John F Kennedy High School on Wisner Blvd. Buses run from 4:30 until 11:30 PM.
The 5K and 1 Mile courses are out and back on Wisner Blvd. The course will close at 9:00 PM.
Awards will be distributed shortly after the race. There is no duplication of awards – Overall, Youth, Master, and Grandmaster winners are not eligible for age group awards. Youth competitors are age 15 and under on race day, Masters are 40 and over, Grandmasters are 50 and over, and Seniors are 60 and over.
Stemless wine glasses to the first 100 5K finishers.
Prize money to the first three Overall male and female finishers and the first Masters finishers in the 5K as follows: 1st: $100, 2nd: $75, 3rd: $50, and 1st Masters: $50.
The following 5K award winners will receive a backpack ice chest:

The races will be electronically timed and scored. You must wear your race bib and D-tag properly to be scored. Your race bib must be worn on the front of your torso and be visible at the finish line. Your D-tag must be worn properly on one of your shoes. See Chronotrack D-Tag Instructions for details.
Preliminary results will be posted at the race site at the conclusion of the race. Full results will be published on the NOTC web site.
Running socks will be given to participants instead of T-shirts. Socks are only guaranteed to participants registered by May 18, 2014.
Registration is open to NOTC members and nonmembers alike. All participants must be registered and wear an official race bib while on the course. Packet pickup will begin at 6:00 PM on race day.
Family registration is available to preregistered NOTC member families only and includes registration for two adults and other family members age 20 and under living in the same household.
Entry fees are non-refundable. Sorry, no exceptions.

Race day registration will be available at the race site starting at 6:00 PM. Payment may be made by cash, check, or credit card. Credit card must be presented.
Early packet pickup will be available at the NOTC office Wednesday and Thursday, May 21 and 22, from 3:00 until 7:00 PM. The office is located at the Offices 1050 in the historic Coca-Cola building, 1050 S Jefferson Davis Pkwy, Suite 109, New Orleans.
Race-day packet pickup will open at 6:00 PM at the race site.
For your safety and the safety of others the NOTC and the RRCA discourage the use of headphones during the running or walking of the event.
