Final Grand Prix Standings Posted

Final Grand Prix standings have been posted including results from the Oktoberfest 5K.

Oktoberfest 5K Results

Over 400 participants were greeted with sunny, warm weather and got in the Oktoberfest spirit on the evening of Saturday, October 18th for the 3rd annual Oktoberfest 5k race and the sixth and final Grand Prix series race. The 5:00pm race, held in conjunction with the Deutsches Haus Oktoberfest in Rivertown, Kenner, ran on an out and back course on the levee. Ian Carr won the men's race for a second year in a row in a time of 15:55 and Lauren Ybarzabal led the ladies in a time of 21:06.

F3 will be starting a workout group in New Orleans on Saturday, October 18, in City Park. The group is open to men only and is free of charge. Read more...

Holiday Half Marathon Challenge

The New Orleans Track Club and Premier Event Management LLC announce a Half Marathon Special for the 2014 Holiday Season. The "Holiday Half Marathon Challenge" will include the NOTC Ole Man River Half Marathon and Premier Event Management's Smoothie King Big Easy Half Marathon. "We could not be more excited to partner with the New Orleans Track Club on the inaugural Holiday Half Marathon Challenge," stated race director Bill Burke. "The opportunity to partner with one of the oldest and largest running clubs in the country was something that any running event should embrace," stated Burke.

Fall Beginners Training Programs

The Fall Beginners Training Programs have been announced. These programs are designed to prepare participants for the YMCA Corporate Cup 5K on December 6 or the Ole Man River Half Marathon on December 20. An information session will be held Wednesday, September 17 at the NOTC office (1050 S. Jefferson Davis Pkwy, Suite 109) at 6:00 PM.

Announcing Resilience 5K

The New Orleans Track Club (NOTC) announced today that it will host the Resilience 5K on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 in remembrance of the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina's landfall. Focused on the perseverance and spirit of New Orleans, the Resilience 5K will welcome runners and walkers of all skill levels who want to celebrate the City on a significant date in its history.
