2025 Awards:
1st Place Male and Female in each age group, including Youth & Racewalkers will receive a special commemorative prize.
2nd - 5th Place Male and Female in each age group, including Youth & Racewalkers will receive a commemorative award.
Any NOTC members who compete all 7 Grand Prix events will receive a completion award.
Awards are presented during the January 2026 NOTC General Membership Meeting.

2025 Rules:
1. Age on December 31, 2025, will be used.
2. All competitive racewalkers must sign in prior to the start of the race at the Racewalker Check-in Table. Racewalkers that are disqualified on course by the judges will not be eligible for division points in that event. Racewalkers may not run at any time. Clothing must not obscure the knees. Pacing devices and headphones are not permitted. Please check with the Racewalker Coordinator should you have any questions.
3. To be eligible for awards, club members must participate in at least 4 of the 7 series races. Youths must participate in at least 3 out of 5 kids races that have youth races (1 mile or shorter).
4. Only 6 out of 7 race results will be used for the Grand Prix overall standings & awards (See item 12).
5. To earn series points, NOTC membership must be valid on race day and must be valid on the date of the awards ceremony to receive an award.
6. All NOTC members are automatically entered into the Grand Prix Race Series.
7. Grand Prix Series points are assigned to the top twenty NOTC members in each division as follows: 20, 19, 18, ..., 3, 2, 1. For events with multiple adult division race options, each race is scored separately and equally. Except for the Mardi Gras 10K Distance which will be scored 25, 24, 23......6.
8. One additional point per completed event will be awarded to all club members.
9. Tie Breakers:

First tiebreaker is highest score at a single race.

Second tiebreaker is number of times scoring that many points, then highest of top 2 races, then highest of top 3 races, etc.
10. Grand Prix Series participants are eligible to score an additional one-time 10-point bonus for volunteering at NOTC events. The events eligible for volunteer points begin with the Jackson Day Race, ending with the last Grand Prix race, Ole Man River. Not counting Summer Series events.
11. In order to be eligible to receive your one-time 10-point bonus for Volunteering, you must sign in using your RunSignUp account and register using the volunteer portal on that set events website. The volunteer portal tab will be located at the top right of each individual NOTC event website. You MUST check-in at the Volunteer Check-In table located in the packet pickup/registration area to receive your one-time 10-point bonus or ask a NOTC Staff member to check you in.
12. Final standings are based on the sum of scores from all series races plus the volunteer bonus (if any), and participation points, dropping each competitor's lowest score if they complete all 7 races. Competitors in the abbreviated youth divisions do not drop their lowest score.
13. NOTC members who participate in all 7 of the 2025 Grand Prix Series races are eligible for a series completion award.
14. Races are scored based on Gun Time.
